Spring has not officially sprung in Washington until the Pink Tie Party gets underway. It’s an annual tradition that pays homage to one of the most beloved spring activities in the city: watching the cherry blossoms bloom. This year, it’s slated for Friday, March 22nd from 7 to 11 p.m.

Dress up in your finest cocktail attire—preferably pink—and head to the Ronald Reagan Building for the fancy affair. It’s an all-inclusive evening of fine fare, craft cocktails, and live music, dancing encouraged. The Pink Tie Party also plays host to a silent auction. As you bid on items, grab bites from Momofuku Milk Bar, Thai Chef Street Food, and Barley Mac, to name just a few. The fun keeps going all night long thanks to the open bar. Tickets include all food and drink and cost $225 per person.
