Memorial Day presents the opportunity to honor and remember the brave men and women who have given their lives in the name of American freedom. There are lots of different ways that you can do this, but you have a greater abundance of options living in Washington, D.C. One of them is the National Memorial Day Choral Festival at JFK Center for the Performing Arts on May 26th.

The event kicks off at 3 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts under Dr. Craig Jessop, the artistic director. Feel free to sing along as the choir performs patriotic hits in honor of the day. Although the event is free, you do need a ticket to attend. Request tickets online and come to the JFK Center between 1 and 3 p.m. the day of the performance to grab them at the box office.
