You’re not really a craft beer aficionado until you’ve attended DC’s now-iconic Snallygaster festival. It attracts more than 150 breweries from across the country and around the globe, and they pour more than 400 varieties of beers. It only lands in DC for one day this month—October 12th—so grab a ticket now if you want to make sure you’re part of it.

VIP tickets have already sold out, but you can still snag a general admission ticket (AKA “The Kraken”) for $50. This ticket entitles you to entry to the festival from 2 to 6 p.m., during which you can refill your souvenir tasting glass with beer and wine as many times as you like. Bring along your wallet to pay for local food truck fare as you go, and take a break every now and then to enjoy the live music at Snallygaster.
