This gem is located in Ivy City, just moments from your apartment on East Capitol Street DC, and if you love beer (particularly IPAs), then this is your place. They specialize in citrus-y New England style IPAs, but the Milkshake IPA should be on your list, too. They have some amazing stouts and an expansive can and bottle variety.

The space has an impressive patio area with two sections, which are covered, heated and the tables are generously spaced apart. Table reservations are required in advance, and they credit the reservation fee to your tab. They cook up fresh to order, delicious apps, soups and sandwiches. The wait staff will be quick to bring your food, refill your pint or the water bowl for your pup – yes, they are pet friendly too!
