The annual ZooLights festivities at the National Zoo draw thousands of families every year, but on November 29 from 6 to 9 p.m., the zoo is hosting a night solely for the grown-ups. The BrewLights at ZooLights event combines all the attractions that make ZooLights so popular—the food vendors, musicians and entertainers, and nighttime animal exhibits—while adding plenty of beer to the festivities.

Dozens of macro- and micro-breweries set up booths around the zoo to offer tasting pours of their most popular beers. This year’s breweries include big names like Guinness, as well as local craft outfits like Fair Winds, Rocket Frog, and Spencer Devon. Your entrance ticket gets you as many drinks as you’d like, as well as a souvenir pint glass. Tickets are $50 with a zoo membership, or $60 without. All proceeds from the event go to the zoo’s animal care and conservation efforts. All guests must be 21 with ID.
