This new rendition of the classic musical was the 2019 Grammy®–nominee for Best Latin Jazz Album, and it features instrumental orchestration of lively Latin jazz that’s truly fun and exciting to watch.
During West Side Story Reimagined, percussionist/bandleader Bobby Sanabria and his MultiVerse Big Band offer their own take on the classic musical that made its mark on American theater. The show takes place at the Terrace Theater on January 18, and tickets range from $35.00 to $40.00. Bobby Sanabria will sign CDs following the 7 p.m. performance in the States Gallery outside the Terrace Theater, and there will be a pre-show moderated conversation with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Bobby Sanabria, and Mark Horowitz starting at 5 p.m.
