Soak Up the Remaining Summer Sunshine at East Potomac Park

Fishing, biking, jogging. Whatever outdoor activities you’re into, you’ll find a good place to enjoy them at East Potomac Park. Located just moments from your Washington DC apartment, the popular spot is lauded as a “great place to relax” and an excellent way to “de-stress after a long week,” according to one regular guest. Another notes that since East Potomac Park isn’t in a particularly touristy part of the city, it doesn’t draw large crowds like some of the other parks.

That being said, the flat 3.2-mile path that circles Hains Point attracts joggers, walkers, and cyclists alike, but it’s always easy to social-distance. The park also plays host to a trio of golf courses, plus a mini-putt space and a driving range. That’s not to mention the tennis courts and barbecue grills. Needless to say, East Potomac Park offers ample opportunities for safe outdoor recreation this fall!
