‘Tis the season to get outside and explore! The weather has been in our favor recently with warmer days and even more sunshine ahead. Next time you feel like getting out and exploring, check out Lincoln Park on East Capitol and 11th Street. Situated right near your Capitol Hill apartment, there’s tons of space to walk about or benches to just sit, soak up the sun, and people watch! Or dog watch, a bunch of people bring their cute puppies here for walks. Some refer to it as D.C.’s mini Central Park because of all the hustle and bustle and people out enjoying. It’s a place people really come together to enjoy our city in the warmer months!

If you’re a history buff, wander the park and check out the statues! The park’s name comes from the Lincoln statue which depicts Lincoln and a freed slave thanking him for his freedom. It’s quite moving! Get out and get exploring, we live in a beautiful city with so many sights to see!
